I have mentioned how the LORD provided for my every need and of course He does this by putting Angels in our path to help us along the way. Allow me to introduce to you some of those Angels:
1. Our care at our dormitory was overwhelming - Les and I had our own room and shared a bathroom with an amazing couple, Gert and Maggie, from Canada. They are in preparation to move to Zambia and so it was most interesting to get to know them. What a lovely couple and so much fun. Our team was amazing and you will be seeing them in my next blog. For now, meet our Angels :
a. Our cooks and caregivers - Ba Patricia was the lady in charge of the kitchen and what an amazing wonderful woman. They always had our meals prepared daily and were there throughout our meals to attend to our every need.
b. Everyday, Beanwell, would faithfully show up to take us in his bus to Chongwe to the Nangwenya Village where Camp Hope is held. We loved listening to his music when we weren't singing our songs. He had a great sound on his phone that would always ring in cool music and we found out it was Moses Makawa and so the staff found a DVD of his and brought it to Les and I. This is Beanwell,
a wonderful friend and servant of the Lord. It did not matter whether the bus ride was bumpy or long, it was all part of the African experience and singing praises to our Lord made it all okay.
c. The staff at EOH which included Mama Margaret was truly amazing. Here they are:
From left to right, our founder, Gary Schneider USA office; head of African office,Ba Mama Margaret Harawa, and Ba Caison Hara,Ba Mary-Ann Lungu, Ba Patricia Zulu, Ba Humphrey Simbeye, Ba Mareta Musiwa, Ba Phil Tronton, Ba Chiwanine Agatha and Willi. They work tirelessly for the Lord and for these orphans.
d. The Mamas to these adorable children in My Fathers Houses that have been built: Without them, this organization could not exist. They are the superhuman ones who can accomplish in a day what none of us could even imagine and to be in their presence is truly a honor. Praise God for women such as these!! One of my most memorable moments was when they all gathered and I was allowed to present small gifts to each one of them - nail polish, perfume, candy , lotion. At the same time, they were awarded a certificate for courses they took to help counsel children that Gary presented to them. Here they are:

MAMA MARGARET
AND THEN THERE IS MAMA MARGARET - her every word inspired me throughout my mission. To listen to her pray and share the word of God, is truly a privelege and such a great enlightenment. She is so amazing and she gives such love and hope to the staff, the mamas, and the children. To watch her pray over the children who have evil spirits in them is overwhelming. She truly uses the Lord through her prayers to cleanse them of what has been done to them thru these horrific practices that witchcraft uses. She is one of Gods chosen to heal this land of such ancient and horrific practices. This last picture of Mama Margaret is with Precious - she is a very abused child in the village we have created for the My Fathers Houses. She has been taken in extra because no one else wants her - she was so abused that because of it, she cannot talk. One of my most memorable moments is when I shared the evangicube with her which explains the gospel in picture. I saw her light up when I pointed to heaven where we will have eternal life without any pain or suffering. I had all I could do to keep back tears when I saw her eyes light up.
AND THEN THERE ARE OUR DEDICATED INTERNS WHO WERE THERE FOR US daily,
KATIE COLWELL, CHRISTINA CATES, AND SHELBIE NEY. They had a huge task after helping with the previous two camps, having been there all summer, I don't know how they did it. They brought all the supplies, trained us in on the crafts, spent time with us at meals and generally helped and encouraged us when we needed it.
